Brinjal Prawn Curry|How to Make Brinjal Prawn Curry
Brinjal Prawn Curry is a tasty and spicy recipe combination with brinjal and Prawn. I am sure brinjal hating people also love this recipe and prawn loving people get a different taste of Prawn in the Brinjal Prawn Curry. So don’t wait for that Cook it and enjoy it with steamed rice.
Ingredients for Brinjal Prawn Curry—
200 gram Prawn, medium size (pilled)
2 Brinjal (cut into small spices)
Panch phoron (Bengali five spice mix)
2 big Onion (sliced)
5 Garlic (chopped)
2 medium Tomato (chopped)
3 green Chilli paste
1 tablespoon Ginger paste
1 tablespoon Cumin powder
½ tablespoon Turmeric powder
1 tablespoon Mustard paste
1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
3 tablespoon coriander leaves (chopped)
4 tablespoon Oil for fry the brinjal and prawn
4 tablespoon Oil for Brinjal Prawn Curry
Salt to taste
How To Make Brinjal Prawn Curry
First take a frying pan and add 2 tablespoon of oil then fry the Brinjal (with some salt and turmeric powder) until golden brown and keep it aside.
After that add 2 tablespoon of oil in the same frying pan and fry the Prawn (with some salt and turmeric powder) on a low flame until golden brown, keep them aside.
Now heat 4 tablespoon oil in a pan, add Panch phoron, sliced Onion, and chopped Garlic fry them on medium flame it become light brown in colour.
Then add chopped Tomato and salt to taste let it cooked.
Now take a small bowl add Ginger paste, Green chilli paste, Cumin powder, Turmeric powder, Mustard paste mix them with 2 tablespoon of water add this mixture on the pan.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes keep stirring continuously.
Then add the fried Brinjal, Prawn and ½ cup of water mix it well, cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes on a low to medium flame.
After 5 minutes open the lid, add Garam masala powder and coriander leaves, check the salt and spices and adjust to suit your taste, turn of the heat.
