Ingredients of Butter Chicken Recipe
For first marination
1 kg Chicken (with bon or bonless)
1 teaspoon Black paper powder
4 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli
1 tablespoon Ginger & Garlic
Salt as require
For second marination
4 tablespoon hung Curd
1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon kasuri methi
2 tablespoon Mustard oil
For Butter Chicken gravy—
1 tablespoon Oil
2 Butter cubes
2 cinnamon sticks (dalchini)
4 green cardamoms (elaichi)
4 Cloves (laung)
5 Cashew nuts
1 tablespoon Peanuts
4 small Onion (Sliced)
3 Garlic pieces
5 medium size Tomato (Chopped)
1 green Chilli
1 tablespoon Ginger paste
2 green chilli (Chopped)
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon Kasuri methi
1 tablespoon Honey
2 tablespoon Cream
How to Make Butter Chicken Recipe
Marinate the Chicken
At First take a mixing bowl for put raw chicken pieces.
Then add salt, lemon juice, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and mix well together. Refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes in a small bowl add Curd, Garam masala powder, Turmeric powder, Cumin powder, Red chilli powder, Mustard oil, Kasuri methi and Salt. Mix all the ingredients.
Then pour the curd mixture on the refrigerated chicken, mix well and refrigerate again for 1 hour.
Next heat oil in a frying pan and fry the marinated chicken until golden brown. Then keep it aside.
Prepare the Butter Chicken Gravy
At first heat two cup of water in a kadai and then add chopped Tomato, sliced Onion, 1 green Chilli, Garlic, Cashew, Peanut, two cloves, one cardamom and one cinnamon stick. Boil all the ingredients for 2-3 minutes, then cool it and grind well.
After that heat another pan with one table spoon Oil, two Butter cubes add Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamoms, chopped Green chilli and Ginger paste fry it for a min.
Next pour the grind mixture on the pan and add Kashmiri red chilli powder, Kasuri methi and Honey. Mix well and cook it for 1 minute on a low flam.
Then add the fried chicken and mix it, pour water to suit your desired consistency. Bring the mix to a boil and simmer about 5 to 6 minutes.
After that add Garam masala powder stir and simmer for 1 min, pour cream and mix it. Then switch off the stove.
Now Garnish Butter Chicken with 1 pinch Kasuri methi and extra Cream. Serve yummy Butter Chicken with jeera rice, roti, and nun.
